What is the difference between A Record and CNAME Record?

An A Record maps your domain or subdomain to a specific IP address, allowing browsers to load your website. In contrast, a CNAME Record redirects one domain or subdomain to another, often used for setting up subdomains like shop.yourdomain.com. The A Record works directly with IP addresses, while CNAME works with domain names. Both are crucial for domain configuration, but they serve different purposes based on how your website or services are structured.
